Fountain Park in Old Town Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, SC – The OTS Media Group and Rock Hill’s Old Town Association will present the 39th annual Boo Ha-Ha Halloween festival in downtown Rock Hill on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Boo Ha-Ha, South Carolina’s largest FREE Halloween event, will be held at Fountain Park, 300 E. Main Street, Rock Hill, from 11 AM until 1 PM.

The area will be decorated with pumpkins and over two dozen bigger-than-life inflatable creatures positioned throughout the park. The day will be highlighted by multiple appearances and performances of the “Sanderson Sisters characters” inspired by the Disney movie Hocus Pocus, along with 10-foot-tall Pumpkin and Frankenstein characters. Daimler Trucks will also offer a themed tractor-truck that children can visit and enjoy. The popular costume contests for ages 2 to 14 will return with cash and prizes, and over 30 business partners will be offering trick-or-treating with candy and treats. More details are online at BooHaHaRockHill.com or can be heard on OTS stations WRHI FM-100.1, Interstate 107.1, 90s on 94.3 and 104.1 The Bridge.

The annual Halloween celebration started in 1983 as a safe alternative to neighborhood Trick or Treating in Rock Hill and has grown since. Pets are not permitted in the park during the two-hour event.

Rock Hill public service organizations or businesses interested in being a part of this year’s event can contact Tyler Cupp at 803-324-1340.
